OBJECTIVES :

The purpose of the Networks & Telecommunications (NT) specialty is to master the sciences and technologies of information and communication. Services (such as collaborative work tools, network infrastructure, virtualization, etc.) have transitioned from enterprise to the general public through the internet and mobile devices. Familiar applications include social networks, online gaming, e-commerce, video on demand, video conferencing, Internet of Things (IoT), mobile telephony, fiber optics, etc.

By leveraging a broad scientific and technological background, the program also enhances students’ ability to develop autonomy, take initiative, and adapt to the evolving demands of their profession throughout their personal and professional journey.

FURTHER STUDIES :

Further studies are possible in master’s programs, engineering schools like EPISEN (ITS), abroad, or potentially in business schools.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES :

Graduates in Networks & Telecommunications work in all companies utilizing ICT (Information and Communication Technologies). They are involved in professions such as telephony, development of applications for smartphones and tablets, ubiquitous or communications-specific computing, network administration, and operating systems administration.

Recruitment sectors include healthcare (telemedicine, personal assistance), e-commerce, consulting and services, IT, telecommunications operators (internet, telephone, television), and smart building technologies.

TRAINING ORGANIZATION :

The Bachelor’s Degree in Networks & Telecommunications consists of 2000 hours of training (including lectures, tutorials, and practical work), 600 hours of projects, and internship periods spread over 3 years. During this time, students will develop specific skills related to the networks/telecommunications domain:

  • Administration of networks and the Internet
  • Connecting businesses and users
  • Developing tools and computer applications for Networks & Telecommunications

From the first year, students engage in career planning discussions, enabling them to choose between the two tracks within the NT Bachelor’s program and specialize their training towards specific professional goals starting from the second year.

Training Format: On-site with access to digital resources.

Pedagogical Methods Employed: Education is delivered through lectures, tutorials, practical exercises, and projects.
